Are all green tea products on the market created equally? Although they all might appear to be similar, there is a big difference in quality and efficacy between them. Some contain minced tea leaves, some contain water extracts, some contain alcohol extracts, some are standardized for polyphenols, some are standardized for catechins, some are standardized for…the list goes on an on.

So which type is best?  Nearly every study on green tea shows that the polyphenols are the most important constituents in this incredible herb.  Within this polyphenol fraction, it is universally accepted that the catechin portion is responsible for nearly every beneficial effect attributable to green tea. Finally, the most important catechin is epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG). EGCG has been shown in studies to have potent effects on energy production, immune function, cardiovascular function, and fat loss and overall health.

Inferior green tea products contain minced tea leaves, non-standardized extracts, or standardized extracts which list mainly polyphenols as the active fraction.  The best green tea products are standardized for a high percentage of total catechins as well as EGCG.  Zima™ uses the very best green tea extract currently available which contains no solvent residues and is standardized for 90% total catechins and 60% EGCG. Compare Green Tea Absolute™ to any other green tea product on the market and find that our product provides the absolute highest quality at the absolute lowest cost thus giving you the absolute best value.
